Tavos Industries recently welcomed Councillor Karen Cilevitz to our office, to discuss how the City of Richmond Hill can become greener and adopt Eco-friendly alternatives to help serve the community.
Councillor Cilevitz is, of course, one of the leaders and former Chair of the DDO (David Dunlap Observatory) Defenders and was instrumental in keeping the green space around the observatory and its surrounding area safe. During her time as a city Councillor, she has been stalwart in her defense of public lands and green spaces.
As the Chair of the DDO Defenders, Councillor Cilevitz worked with the builders to help conserve large amounts of land from over-development. Councillor Cilevitz not only worked to save the David Dunlap Observatory’s green space but also works with the Clean Air Council to help keep our air unpolluted.
We are proud to support Councillor Karen Cilevitz in her mission to create a cleaner future. Tavos is eager to collaborate on future projects and explore opportunities to be contributing members of the Richmond Hill community.
